What matters
- Complete documentation is the value itself here: service book, invoices, chain of owners, and for collector cars an appraisal. What cannot be evidenced does not count at resale.
- On cars from abroad: clarify in advance whether individual approval is required and what it costs. On rare models without European type approval the effort can be considerable.
