Terms and conditions

These terms govern the use of carvexia.com between Ruznic Marketing (the “operator”) and everyone using the platform. They are accepted by registering for, or using, the platform.

1. The role of the platform

Carvexia is an intermediary platform for car listings, spare parts and garage services. Contracts of sale, for work and for services come about solely between users; the operator does not become a party to them and owes no performance under them.

2. Accounts and dealer accounts

An account may only be opened by persons aged 18 or over with legal capacity. The details given must be true and current, and access credentials must be kept confidential. Dealer accounts require a registered commercial business; the operator may ask for evidence and may suspend accounts in case of misuse.

3. Obligations when listing

A listing must describe the car or part offered correctly (condition, mileage, accident damage, price including any VAT). Only images to which the necessary rights exist may be used. Duplicate listings, fictitious offers, cars that are not available and unlawful content are prohibited. Listing text generated by AI must be checked before publication — responsibility for the content remains with whoever lists.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans run monthly or yearly and renew automatically for the period chosen unless cancelled in the account before the end of the current period. Prices are in CHF plus statutory VAT. Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance; until they take effect there is a right to cancel. Periods already paid for are not refunded pro rata on cancellation.

5. Liability

The operator is liable only for damage caused by gross negligence or intent. No liability is accepted for third-party content, for the accuracy of listings, price analyses and AI assessments, or for dealings between users. Uninterrupted operation of the platform is not warranted.

6. Reporting unlawful content

Unlawful or misleading listings can be reported at any time to support@ruznic-marketing.com. Reports are reviewed without undue delay; the content concerned may be removed and accounts suspended. Both the person reporting and the person affected are informed of the decision and may object to it by email within 14 days.

7. Governing law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The place of jurisdiction is Hinwil (ZH), save where mandatory consumer protection provisions require otherwise.

Privacy policy

The controller for the processing of data is Ruznic Marketing, Leimgrubstrasse 5, 8340 Hinwil, Switzerland, support@ruznic-marketing.com. Processing follows the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

What data is processed

• Account data on registration (email, display name, optionally a dealer name) — to perform the contract
• Listing data including the location and contact details of the seller — to display the offer
• Purchase and booking enquiries with name, email and an optional phone number, with or without an account — to pass on to the other party
• Saved cars, the comparison list and recently viewed cars — held solely in local browser storage and never sent to us
• Server log data (IP address, time, page requested) — for security and fault analysis, on the basis of our legitimate interest

Disclosure to third parties

When the AI features are used (search, listing draft, price check, import), the text, images or listing data entered are transmitted to our AI provider and processed there solely to answer the request. Hosting and the database are operated by our infrastructure providers. Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap, which transmits the IP address to their servers. No data is passed on for advertising purposes.

Retention and your rights

Account data is kept until the account is deleted, enquiries for up to 24 months and log data for up to 12 months. You have the right to information, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability and objection. Send such requests to support@ruznic-marketing.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority (in Switzerland: the FDPIC).
