Comparison
What is your portal costing you?
We do not quote other providers' prices here — they change, and an out-of-date comparison costs credibility with exactly the person who checks. Work it out with your own figure instead.

What is structurally different
What is compared here are terms, not amounts: whether a fee per listing applies, whether a contract ties you in, how many markets one search covers.
| Usual on portals | Carvexia | |
|---|---|---|
| Fee per listing | common for private sellers, often tiered by the value of the car | none — on every plan |
| Commission on the sale price | varies by provider | none |
| Minimum term for businesses | usually twelve months on dealer packages | none, cancel monthly |
| Markets in one search | usually one country, sometimes via partner sites | eleven countries, prices adjusted across currencies |
| Spare parts on the listing | not included | a marketplace of its own; matching parts appear beside the car |
| Garage appointments | not included | a map, a request and confirmation by email |
| Running the workshop itself | not included | customers, vehicle records and jobs, as a module |
| Access for AI assistants | not widespread | the open MCP standard, on the Dealer Pro plan |
The left column describes what is common in the industry and deliberately names no individual provider and no amount. Comparative advertising is permitted in Switzerland and the EU only where it is objective and verifiable — a figure we cannot evidence does not meet that.
Where we are worse
A comparison with no weaknesses of its own is not believed. These two points count against us, and both are the reason the first listing costs nothing.
Stock
new and building — this is where we are behind, and it is reflected in the price
Recognition among buyers
we are starting out — which is why you list with us as well, not instead
What dealers actually ask us
- You have hardly any stock. Why should I list with you?
- Because finding out costs you nothing. The first listing is free, there is no minimum term, and an existing listing can be brought across by link rather than typed in again. If nothing happens in two months, you have lost the time for an import and nothing else. We are not asking you to switch portals — we are asking you to list here as well.
- What is the catch with “no fee per listing”?
- None, but here is the explanation: we earn from the flat rate and the modules, not from the number of your cars. That means our interest is in you listing many cars — not in you weighing up each one. With a fee per listing it is the other way round, which is why cheap cars there often never go online at all.
- Do I have to re-enter my listings by hand?
- No. The import brings an existing listing across by link; the vehicle data is read out and saved as a draft for you to check. Photos are deliberately not carried across because image rights stay with their author — those you upload yourself. From the Dealer Pro plan up, bulk import from your own stock system is available too.
- What happens if I stop in three months?
- Then you stop. There is no minimum term and no notice period beyond the current billing period. Your listings are set to inactive, not deleted; your business profile, customer records and jobs all stay. Book again later and everything is where you left it.
- Why eleven markets? I sell locally.
- Because your buyer does not always search locally. A car that is hard to sell at home can be in demand in another market — and conversely, a buyer across the border only sees your listing if it appears there at all. It costs you nothing: the same listing appears in every market, and the price is converted for whoever is looking.
Try it with one car.
Not with your whole stock, and not with a contract. One car, brought across by link, costs you ten minutes.
- The first listing is free, no card needed.
- Existing listings can be brought across by link.
- No minimum term — stopping needs no notice.
