Press release

Carvexia opens its search to the whole single market

Carvexia has extended its vehicle search from the German-speaking markets to the entire European single market. A car in Portugal now appears in the same result list as one in the next canton, and both prices are also shown in the currency the visitor has chosen.

The reason for the step is an observation familiar to anyone who has bought across a border: the same model with the same specification is valued differently from market to market. That has nothing to do with the quality of the car and everything to do with supply, demand and each country's tax logic. Search only at home and you never see the difference.

Technically the extension was more than a longer country list. A price filter set in euros has to catch a car recorded in zloty, krona, forint or lei — otherwise it drops out of every result as soon as someone sets an upper limit. Carvexia therefore keeps a euro comparison value alongside each listing, formed when the listing is saved rather than recomputed on every query.

Conversions are marked as indicative everywhere on the platform. The binding figure is the price in the seller's currency; anything else is an orientation that makes comparison possible without constituting an offer. That distinction appears next to every price, not only in the small print.

The extension brought the other half of the job with it: buying a car across a border means importing it. Carvexia answers the questions that raises in its guides and in country pages that work through registration, import and inspection for each destination — without stating official rates as fixed figures, because those change and a stale amount is worse than none.

Carvexia is operated by Ruznic Marketing, a digital marketing agency in Hinwil, canton of Zurich. The platform is available at carvexia.com in German and English.

About Carvexia

Carvexia is a vehicle marketplace for the European market. Buyers search stock across several countries in one go, with prices that stay comparable across currencies. Every listing carries matching spare parts and nearby garages. Sellers pay no fee per listing: private sellers list their first car free, and businesses pay a flat rate they can cancel monthly.
